Since 1949, Trenton has pioneered the development of wax-based anticorrosion solutions. Most well-known is the Wax-Tape® brand anticorrosion wrap system, with primers, wraps and outerwraps. The benefits of Trenton’s anticorrosion wrap system include: minimal surface preparation, ease of application, no special tools required, conformable to irregular surfaces, removable for inspection, environmentally friendly. An additional solution that has been installed worldwide is Trenton’s Fill-Coat® #1 Hot-Applied Wax Casing Filler.
Three wraps meet a variety of needs. Wax-Tape #1 anticorrosion wrap remains flexible excelling in underground applications, Wax-Tape #2 anticorrosion wrap firms up and provides added mechanical protection aboveground, while Wax-Tape HT-3000 provides protection for operating temperatures up to 230° F (110°C).
For additional mechanical protection, Trenton offers MCO® 110 outerwrap which can be used aboveground or belowground as a protective wrap over Trenton Wax-Tape® anticorrosion wraps. MCO® 110 outerwrap is a specialized blend of quick-curing resins impregnated into a fiberglass fabric and is applied by hand, with no special application tools needed.
