Pond, one of the fastest growing architecture and engineering firms in the country, has announced the promotion of William Anderson to associate principal and vice president of energy.

In his new role, Anderson will lead Pond’s commercial and utility business development teams and continue to serve energy clients worldwide.

With decades of experience in the natural gas industry, William’s knowledge in supply chain, construction, operations, and regulatory compliance provides valuable insight into the daily and strategic needs of industry clients.

This insider knowledge positions Pond to continue growing its commercial and utility business and expand its depth of services to valued clients, according to Bryan Evans, executive vice president of energy.

Evans said: “William is a well-respected industry leader. I am excited to have him partner with our energy leadership team to help focus our strategy and continue to develop our commercial and utilities markets.

“As he shares his insight and guidance, I’m confident we will be well-positioned to achieve significant growth in the market,” he said.

Anderson spent most of his career at Southern Company Gas before entering the pipeline construction industry and, more recently, the utility integrated supply and sales business.

Staying abreast of industry trends and opportunities, he is active in leading industry associations. His background has allowed him to view the utility world holistically to provide trusted consulting services and foster relationships across the industry.

“Joining Pond has allowed for the opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with industry leading professionals to meet customer needs, protect the environment, and provide turnkey engineering solutions to build and improve the industry’s infrastructure. Pond’s commitment and dedication to their clients, their people, and their community is unwavering, and I’m excited to be a part of the team,” said Anderson.
