Musket Corp Acquires Vecenergy Terminal

Houston-based Musket Corporation, the trading and logistics arm of the Love’s family of companies, recently acquired a refined products fuel terminal from Vecenergy in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The terminal will allow Musket to better serve its customers in the southwest part of the country.

“This is an exciting new era of fuel terminal logistics for Musket and its customers, including Love’s Travel Stops,” said JP Fjeld-Hansen, vice president of Musket.

“The move will bring Musket’s first-class level of service to a growing Albuquerque market.”

The 200,000-barrel facility will house gasoline, diesel, biodiesel and ethanol for Musket.

Musket handles billions of gallons of crude oil, NGL, natural gas, petroleum products, renewable fuels and DEF every year.

The Love’s family of companies is headquartered in Oklahoma City and employs more than 34,000 people across the US.

Love’s also includes two Houston-based companies: Musket Corporation, which specializes in commodity supply, trading and logistics across North America, and Trillium, a leading provider of renewable fuels and alternative fueling solutions, which offers expertise in compressed natural gas, hydrogen, electric vehicle charging, renewable natural gas, solar installation and on-site electricity generation.

Gemini Motor Transport is a nationwide motor carrier comprised of 950 trucks hauling fuel and refined fuel products included diesel exhaust fluid, propane, ethanol, jet, biodiesel and specialty products.

Love’s has over 420 truck service centers, which include Speedco and Love’s Truck Care locations.
