Goddard joins Pond as senior environmental project manager

Pond, a leader in engineering, architecture, planning and construction management services, have announced that Nate Goddard, PWS, has joined the firm as a senior environmental project manager. In this role, Goddard will work with the firm’s Environmental & Water Resources (EWR) group based out of Pond’s newly opened office in Tampa, Florida.

Goddard has over 20 years of experience across a broad range of disciplines including research, assessment, and permitting of upland, freshwater, and marine systems. He is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in wetland ecology from the University of South Florida.

Prior to joining Pond, Goddard worked as a project manager and ecologist providing a variety of clients with environmental resource assessments, wetland delineation, wildlife surveys, environmental resource permitting, and mitigation services. He has permitting experience including environmental resource permitting, Clean Water Act Section 404 permitting, Endangered Species Act Section 7 & 10 consultation, gopher tortoise relocation, development of mitigation sites, and development and permitting of wetland and stream mitigation banks.

Goddard brings extensive experience in the power industry sector where he led environmental permitting efforts for solar power facilities as well as power distribution and power delivery projects.
