Coastal Bend LNG has announced the selection of ConocoPhillips’ Optimized Cascade Process liquefaction technology for its planned natural gas liquefaction and export facility on the Texas Gulf Coast. The technology selection represents a significant milestone in the project’s development progress.

Coastal Bend LNG expects to pre-file its Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) permits during 2025, marking the next phase of regulatory advancement for the project. The pre-filing process will initiate formal regulatory review of the proposed facility’s environmental and operational aspects.
