ORG Chem Acquires MPR

ORG Chem Group has acquired substantially all the assets of MPR Services for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition further expands Chem Group’s presence within the amines reclamation industry, and will introduce onsite reclamation capabilities delivered through mobile and permanent units.

The combined organizations will be headquartered in Evansville, Indiana with additional facilities in Troy, Indiana, Hot Springs, Arkansas and Alvin, Texas.

MPR is a Texas-based provider of reclamation services, serving customers in the US, Europe and beyond. MPR has been providing permanent and mobile reclamation services to the oil refining, natural gas, LNG facilities, petrochemical and ammonia, syngas industry since 1989, with proprietary technologies built for purifying gas treating amine solutions used for acid gas removal.

Prior to the acquisition, MPR was a wholly owned subsidiary of Tessenderlo Kerley, a leader in producing and marketing specialty products used in the agriculture, mining, and chemical industries.
