Latham & Watkins advises Moss Lake Partners in convertible security placement

Read Time: 1 min

Latham & Watkins LLP played a pivotal role in advising Moss Lake Partners LP, an energy infrastructure company focusing on midstream logistics, in the structuring, private placement, and completion of the remaining authorized capacity of its convertible security and preferred equity units. These funds are earmarked for financing Moss Lake’s strategic asset projects, including DeLa Express and Hackberry NGL.

Moss Lake’s development initiatives aim to connect U.S. natural gas and liquids supply with high-demand consumer markets while prioritizing value, optionality, and flexibility for its proposed strategic partners and commodity customers.

Leading the Latham team were Austin partner David Miller and Houston counsel Ben Gelfand, supported on corporate matters by associate Jase Burner. Additionally, guidance on tax considerations was provided by Houston partner Jim Cole, assisted by associate Christine Mainguy. Regulatory insights were furnished by Washington, D.C. partners Patrick Nevins and Janice Schneider. Further support on related benefits and compensation matters came from Century City/Bay Area partner Julie Crisp, Chicago partner Nineveh Alkhas, and Houston counsel Krisa Benskin.
